Monitoring and Maintenance of Restoration Projects Copy

As discussed in the last lesson, for individual projects and the coral restoration industry as a whole to succeed, all projects must have long-term monitoring and maintenance. In this Lesson, we will outline some of the methods and techniques used to monitor corals that are available to the local reef manager.

In this lesson, we will cover methods to monitor the reef that differs from what you learned in the Ecological Montoring Program Course. We will then discuss how to tag, track, and monitor coral health and survival in your nurseries and after out planting. we will also cover some maintence interventions when you identify problems, and finally, where to report your data.
